Yvonne called 911 later that morning to report Daniela's body being found, claiming that she woke up and found her in her car while stating that she didn't know her. However, Yvonne changed her story and admitted to knowing Daniela, and added that she woke up in the car and found her deceased. It was discovered that Yvonne deleted footage from her Ring door camera and washed her clothes on the night before, with Yvonne admitting to the latter. She was later arrested and charged with 2nd-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
