Zakariya Essabar (3rd April 1977 - unknown date) was a German-Moroccan Muslim and associate of the facilitators of 9/11. == Biography == Essabar was born in Morocco in 1977. In 1997, he moved to Germany and met Al-Qaeda member Ramzi bin al-Shibh, as well as other members of the Hamburg Cell, ultimately resulting in his radicalization. In 1999, Essabar trained with Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, where he learned combat skills and passport alteration. According to al-Shibh, Essabar was the man who relayed the message from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed indicating when the September 11 Attack was to take place, although exactly how many of the details Essabar was aware of is in doubt. A month after the attack, a warrant was issued for Essabar's arrest, although he was not captured and was later killed at an unknown date while fighting in Afghanistan.
