He, along with [[Jake Angeli]] and [[Richard Barnett]], are some of the most notable participants of the [[2021 United States Capitol storming]]. Court documents have revealed that Johnson brought a knife, reportedly for self-defense. Despite his arrest, he was given a deal from prosecutors to travel for the holidays on December 2021, citing his in-law to be in bad health from numerous surgeries. In February 2022 he was jailed for 75 days for entering and remaining in a restricted building. He is not to be confused with [[Adam Johnson]], an English athlete who committed sex crimes.
