Adam Christian Johnson is a stay-at-home father from Parrish, Florida who became infamous for carrying Nancy Pelosi's lecturn during the storming of the United States Capitol. He, along with Jake Angeli and Richard Barnett, are some of the most notable participants of the 2021 United States Capitol storming. Court documents have revealed that Johnson brought a knife, reportedly for self-defense.

Despite his arrest, he was given a deal from prosecutors to travel for the holidays on December 2021, citing his in-law to be in bad health from numerous surgeries.

In February 2022 he was jailed for 75 days for entering and remaining in a restricted building.

He is not to be confused with Adam Johnson, an English athlete who committed sex crimes.
