He is best known for creating ''Club Penguin Online'', a delisted ''Club Penguin'' private server controversial for being used for hacking incidents and obtaining nude photos from moderators (mostly underaged girls). == Controversy surrounding Riley and ''Club Penguin Online'' ==

Starting from the discontinuation of the original ''Club Penguin'' in March 2017, countless ''CP'' private servers (''CPPS'' for short) have started to spawn in order to preserve the game. One of the examples is ''Club Penguin Online'', run by Adebowale under his username ''Riley'' and starting in January 4, 2018. The game was programmed by Timmy, who was claimed by Riley to be "the real owner of ''CPO''", but Riley actually only owns the game's domain and Discord server. With the Covid-19 pandemic spreading worldwide in 2020, CPO earned a sudden massive growth of the userbase, with 7 million players joining the game that year.

''CPO'' has been heavily criticized for its lack of moderation, allowing slurs, swear words and sexual roleplaying, especially for a private server of a family-friendly game. The game has also been subject of controversy for hacking incidents, as the moderators could leak e-mails, passwords and IP addresses of every user on the site, causing others' accounts that use the same password as their ''CPO'' account to be hacked by the moderators in turn<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/ClubPenguin/comments/gf1tz9/a_word_of_warning_cpo/</ref>.

Riley is notoriously known for his pedophilic acts towards underaged girls while running ''Club Penguin Online''. On the internet, he allegedly had several relationships with such children, including having digital weddings with them. He also received nudes from children in order to promote them administratorship in his private server, and blackmailed them after receiving explicit pictures of them. He is also known for his habitual lies, such as claiming that he could not get a player's personal informations.  

As an attempt to monopolize the ''Club Penguin'' private server craze, he also used anti-competitive tactics towards other ''Club Penguin'' private servers of which he sees them as a "threat" to his game, such as hacking, raiding or performing DDoS attacks to them. One infamous example is when he raided, doxxed and harassed the staff of a server created in 2019 and designed to be superior to ''CPO'', which led to that game's closure<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0lpDreYXeE&t=854</ref>.

He also engaged in asset theft; in May 2019, he used the Marvel items from a spanish private server named ''Super Club Penguin'' (which he hacked two years prior) for his own game's ''Marvel party''.

The game overall violated several laws aside from pedophilia, including the General Data Protection Regulation, since it did not allow its users to delete their accounts, and Children's Online Privacy Protection Act since there was no parental consent upon signing up. When a user sent him a message about the game violating the GDPR, Riley claimed that the staff team of his private server does not delete accounts because it would allow rule breakers to sign up again, trying to justify regarding of the game's refusal to terminate accounts and failing to realize that it violated the GDPR<ref>https://preview.redd.it/p76r8vwzsp631.jpg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95b040ab653564aa25304e3153871ec576b11072</ref>.

Not only was he silencing all criticism towards him and his game, but he also manipulated his fanbase on few occasions, such as making it think that he is innocent and spread lies about anyone who were against him.

Joey Hues is known for exposing Riley along with his private server for his severe acts towards consumers and staff members on a YouTube video, which was then deleted by a false copyright claim from Riley himself. After the video surfaced, Riley also censored the name ''Joey Hues'' and any comment regarding the allegations from his game.

Joey Hues also exposed the fact that Riley had no skills in coding, and hadn't even created a private server because he was friends with the developers. Instead, he was advertising and marketing for the game<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0lpDreYXeE&t=700</ref>.

Riley became furious towards Hues for exposing him. From then, he started to delibately attack Hues for exposing him. He attempted to slander Hues by releasing a Discord server full of fake evidences against him. These claims are however invalidated by Hues himself. Finally, in the worst case, he and his goons hired a hitman to attempt to murder not only Hues, but also a Twitter user named CPPSArmy, who posted tweets against ''CPO''. == Shutdown of ''Club Penguin Online'' and Arrest ==

On May 15, 2020, Disney issued a DMCA takedown on Riley's ''Club Penguin Online'', closing down the game that same day. Disney states that it's "appaled by the abhorrent and illegal use of its game".

Later, Riley has been arrested for possessing child pornography and being involved in hackings and other crimes. In turn, his Twitter account has been suspended for violating their terms of use. All of those acts were seen as a victory by haters of Riley.
