==Biography==
Abdallah was born in Domoni, located on the island of Anjouan. Its participation in the government begins in the decade of the 40, while the Comoros was still part of France; in particular, he became President of its general council from 1949 to 1953, becoming President of the Chamber of Deputies during 1970.

In 1972, as leader of his political party (Democratic Union of the Comoros or UDC), he became President of the Governing Council and Head of Government of the Comoros, a position he held until July 6, 1975, when the islands reached its independence from France (except Mayotte, which voted to remain a French colony).

In this context, Abdallah went on to become the first president of the independent islands, until his overthrow by Said Mohamed Jaffar via a coup on August 3, 1975.5 Jaffar on the other hand, would later be overthrown by Ali Soilih in 1976.

Some opponents of the regime are executed or disappear during their tenure, which Ahmed was the only candidate allowed to stand in the elections,. The only candidate to be allowed to stand for election, Ahmed Abdallah was re-elected on September 30, 1984, and his party won all seats in the Federal Assembly on May 22, 1987
