Aiden Fucci (born November 17, 2006) is a 14 year old responsible for the murder of 13 year old cheerleader Tristyn Bailey in Jacksonville, Florida. He was responsible for stabbing her 114 times and discarding her body into a nearby lake. A neighbour's surveillance camera showed that on the night of the murder Fucci had been walking with Bailey towards the woods where her body was found and later returned without her.[1] He had also told friends that he fantasized about stabbing people to death in the woods.[2]

He was arrested on May 10, 2021. He was initially charged with second-degree murder, but will now be tried as an adult for first-degree murder and has pleaded not guilty.[3]

His mother, Crystal Smith, was arrested on June 5, 2021 for tampering with evidence. Surveillance video showed her washing blood out of her son's clothes while he was being interviewed on suspicion of murder.[4]

On February 6, 2023, the first day of his trial, Fucci pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.[5] He was sentenced to life in prison.[6]
