Anis Fouad Hemissi is a Swedish hitman responsible for the 2019 murder of British drug kingpin Flamur Beqiri.

In December 2019 Hemissi and accomplice Estevan Pino-Munizaga, members of a Swedish drug gang, were ordered to murder UK-based rival drug lord Flamur Beqiri. The two travelled to London, where Pino-Munigaza rented a flat near Beqiri's house and they met up with fellow gang members Clifford Rollox and Claude Isaac. Over the next few days Hemissi and Pino-Munigaza performed reconnaissance on the area while disguised as litter pickers and wearing latex masks.[1]

On 24 December Hemissi cycled to Beqiri's house and lay in wait for him outside. When Beqiri stepped out, Hemissi shot him eight times in the back and escaped on his bike. Hemissi and Pino-Munizaga then fled the country, leaving Rollox and Isaac to clean up the flat. However, what Hemissi and Pino-Munizaga had failed to realize was that, unlike in Sweden, London has high amounts of CCTV cameras, which allowed the Metropolitan Police to trace Hemissi's route from the crime scene back to the flat thanks to the distinctive women's bicycle he was riding. Police arrived to search the flat before Rollox and Isaac had time to clear it out and found a plane ticket stub with Hemissi's name on it.[2]

Hemissi, Pino-Munizaga and two other gang members accused of conspiring in the shooting were arrested in Sweden and extradited back to the UK to face trial alongside Rollox and Isaac. On 11 February 2022 Hemissi, Pino-Munizaga, Rollox and Isaac were convicted of murder, manslaughter and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice respectively. The other two defendants were acquitted. Hemissi was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 35 years. [3]
