Anti-Japanese sentiment or Japonophobia is intense dislike or hatred of the Japanese. Anti-Japanese sentiment comes largely from the countries militaristic, imperialist and eugenistic past, as well as its alliance with Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy in World War II as the Empire of Japan.
