'''Asiaphobia''' is a hatred, dislike, or fear of people of Asian people. This can include East Asian, South Asian, and Southeast Asian people.

Asiaphobia has sadly seen a tremendous resurgence beginning in 2020 in the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, as it has been reported that [[hate crime]]s against Asians have increased dramatically. This has been mostly due to the fact that the virus originated in China, with some mockingly referring to COVID-19 as the "Chinese Virus".

Even though Middle East, some parts of Turkey and Russia, and Central Asia are geographically in Asia, they are often put on a separate category, though they can sometimes be included in Asiaphobia.
