Carlos Luis Revete (Caracas, Venezuela, February 1, 1978 – Las Tejerías, February 8, 2022), better known by his alias "El Koki", was a Venezuelan criminal and pran, leader of the criminal mega gang that controlled the sector Cota 905 in Caracas and one of the most wanted criminals in the country, accused of crimes such as robbery, homicide and drug trafficking. In 2021 he was involved in the clashes at Cota 905, where by July 11 they had caused at least 26 deaths and 38 injuries.
Early Life edit
Carlos Luis Revete was born on February 1, 1978 in Venezuela and grew up in the popular neighborhoods of Caracas. His family was originally from Colombia from Norte de Santander, highly linked to paramilitarism. His father Luis Jairo Revete Chacoa emigrated from the city of Cúcuta to Venezuela, when he was between 16 and 17 years old and settled in Cota 905 as a merchant, owning wineries, liquor stores, and restaurants in the place and its adjacent ones in the year nineteen ninety five.
Revete had a love affair with a woman named Yaneimy Yenibett Suárez Coronado with whom he had a daughter. During the clashes at elevation 905, the security forces captured Yaneimy along with her daughter. According to preliminary information, she was the one who charged for the kidnappings carried out by the Revete gang, but the relatives denied the information published by the police, revealing that the two no longer had any romantic relationship and that they had been separated for many years.
