Carol M. Bundy (August 26, 1942 to December 9, 2003) was a California serial killer. Bundy and Doug Clark became collectively known as the Sunset Strip Killers after being convicted of a series of murders in Los Angeles in the late spring and early summer of 1980. The victims were young prostitutes or fugitives.
His two parents were regular alcoholics. Her mother died when she was young and her father sexually abused her at the age of 11. Then, when her father remarried, he put her in several foster homes. When Bundy was 17, he married a 56-year-old man. When he met Clark at the age of 37, he had just escaped from a third marriage to an abusive man, with whom he had two young children. She had begun an adventure with the manager of her apartment block, part-time country singer Jack Murray. He had even tried to bribe Murray's wife to leave him, but this bothered him and told Murray to evict Bundy from the block. This did not end with the crush and she continued to appear regularly in places where Murray was singing. One of them was a bar called Little Nashville.
