Charles Albright is a Texas murderer better known as the Eyeball Killer.
Born in 1933, Albright was a studious youth who was raised by a strict household. He was a smart student who accelerated two grades ahead of his peers. However, even during his youth, he had signs of evil within him, such as his desire to hunt animals and rob other people. At age 13 and 16 respectively, he was arrested for petty theft crimes twice. When Albright enrolled in college at the University of Central Arkansas, he was expelled for committing theft, which ultimately led him to forge a fake medical degree.
He later had a child with a woman he met during his time at the University of Central Arkansas. During their marriage, he committed financial fraud and continue getting under legal fire. He separated from his wife in 1965. He would later go on to sexually molest his daughter, who was at the age of 14.
In 1990, he murdered prostitute Mary Lou Pratt, where he fired her with a .44-caliber gun and mutilated her eyeballs out of her carcass, hence where he got his nickname. He did the same thing to two other prostitutes in 1991. Albright was officially arrested and charged with three counts of murder on March 23, 1991. He later died in prison on August 22, 2020.
