== Background and Aftermath==
As a Conservative activist at UCLA, Secor was known to idolize certain Republican figures, particularly [[Nick Fuentes]] and [[Donald Trump]]. He was responsible for creating an alt-right extremist UCLA Twitter page called "AMERICA FIRST BRUINS". Many fellow UCLA activists worried about his extremist views, with one student, Matthew Richard, claiming that he was "worried that he would be a school shooter". He was known for continuously tweeting hate speech and praising figures like [[Adolf Hitler]].

Following his actions and participation in the capitol riots, UCLA has banned Secor from campus. The campus eventually issued a statement that they condemn Secor's actions, stating that the campus is "committed to mutual respect, making decisions based on evidence and using rational debate and not physical violence".
