Christian Secor is a far-right student activist associated with the Groyper movement who participated in the 2021 United States Capitol storming. He was most notable for being spotted sitting in former Vice President Mike Pence's chair during the insurrection. He arrogantly bragged that he would not get caught by federal authorities, only to eventually be arrested at his mother's house.
Background and Aftermath edit
As a Conservative activist at UCLA, Secor was known to idolize certain Republican figures, particularly Nick Fuentes and Donald Trump. He was responsible for creating an alt-right extremist UCLA Twitter page called "AMERICA FIRST BRUINS". Many fellow UCLA activists worried about his extremist views, with one student, Matthew Richard, claiming that he was "worried that he would be a school shooter". He was known for continuously tweeting hate speech and praising figures like Adolf Hitler.
Following his actions and participation in the capitol riots, UCLA has banned Secor from campus. The campus eventually issued a statement that they condemn Secor's actions, stating that the campus is "committed to mutual respect, making decisions based on evidence and using rational debate and not physical violence".
