Shooting edit
At 2:00 pm on December 14th, 2010, Duke stood up and spray painted on the wall "The V for Vendetta" logo. He then pulled out a semiautomatic pistol and pointed it towards the crowd and board members. Clay let the audience members and all females leave. A female tried to knock out the gun from his hand with her purse but she was subdued by him which prompted Duke to let her go unharmed.
Duke went on a rant discussing his frustration with his wifes recent termination while one of the board members attempts to reason with Duke . Duke then aims the gun at the superintendent and fired a shot but missed. Duke then shot 3 more times in the direction of the board members but all those shots missed aswell.
Duke then was shot once in the back by the security guard which prompted Duke to fall to the floor where he pointed the gun at his head and committed suicide.
It was later stated in a Facebook post, "Duke planned to die in the attack"
