'''Dayton Kingery''' is a 21-year-old Chapman University student who gained notoriety for going on a racist rant inside a classroom in February 2020.

Before his economics class, Kingery went on a rant expressing hate towards blacks and homosexuals. Classmates told him to leave the classroom. He later threw a massive tantrum outside of the classroom, which resulted in him having to be escorted out of campus by law enforcement. It was later revealed that Kingery was intoxicated, as he spent the previous day drinking alcohol.

While he was detained by police, Kingery resisted arrest. He managed to assault a elderly cop that was over 65 years of age, which added another count of elder abuse on top of his other charges. 

Chapman University President Daniele Struppa released a statement following the incident:
{{Quote|Racist and homophobic conduct will not be tolerated on this campus and we took decisive and swift action. As of this afternoon, the individual responsible for this incident is no longer a student at Chapman University.}}
As a result, Kingery was permanently expelled from campus. He was imprisoned for his actions, but was released a day later after posting bond.
