Demonization is a form of propaganda in which an enemy group is portrayed as a "pure evil" entity, devoid of any humanity and designed to harden the hearts of a nation or creed towards those seen as a threat - if left to fester the end result of demonization is the creation of a "subhuman" class which may experience severe oppression and even genocide at the hands of a frightened and/or hateful society, conditioned from an early age to hate their enemies unconditionally.
