Eugène Terre'Blanche was a South African white supremacist, neo-Nazi, Afrikaner nationalist, agricultural worker, former police officer, and leader of the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging.
He was an important far-right leader both before and after the Apartheid era. He founded in 1973 the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging, an Afrikaner organization of neo-Nazi style that aimed to create an Afrikaner republic, committing multiple terrorist attacks and assassinations against blacks and Afrikaners who did not share his ideals. In 2001, he was sentenced to 6 years in prison, but would only serve 3.
He died in 2010 after being beaten to death by two of his farm employees, causing a racial scandal in South Africa.
