Farda Asad Oglu Gadirov (December 8, 1980 - April 30, 2009) was a Georgian who perpetrated a shooting at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy in Baku, Azerbaijan on April 30, 2009, killing 12 people and wounding 13 with a Makarov PM before committing suicide.

Farda Gadirov was born in the village of Dashtapa, near Marneuli, although he lived most of his life in Podolsk, Russia, after his uncle invited him to help him in business, According to his father Farda was a quiet and calm boy, he had no harmful qualities, he didn't even know how to use a gun, for unknown reasons he returned to Baku.
An official from his home village, Vidadi Hasanov, described Gadirov as an unsociable boy who rarely left the house and when he did it was only to buy bread. After the shooting was found on Farda's cell phone describing himself as a "lone wolf." One message said: "I am coming to Baku, I will shoot everyone I meet regardless of their age. I will not give up to the police. I will experience the pleasure of killing".

On the morning of April 30, 2009, at 09:30 a.m., Farda Gadirov, dressed entirely in black, entered the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. He suddenly pulled out his pistol and opened fire. He first killed a security guard and a cleaner, and then fired indiscriminately at the students, one student tried to stop him, but were shot in the head and died on the spot. Farda killed 12 people and wounded 13 when he reached the sixth floor He noticed the police surrounding the building and when he saw the officers approaching, he fatally shot himself.
