The Fourteen Words are a white supremacist slogan, commonly said by white supremacists in their belief of racial superiority and also commonly, their belief in the "white genocide" conspiracy theory. It was originally coined by Order member David Lane while in prison, who was convicted of being affiliated with the murder of Alan Berg, a Jewish talk radio host. The slogan is most commonly read as "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children". It is also rarely is read as "Because the beauty of the White Aryan woman must not perish from the earth." The Fourteen Words are commonly shortened to 14/88, with the "88" in the shortening meaning "Heil Hitler".
