Gerontophilia
Gerontophilia is a psychological disorder in which a young adolescent is sexually attracted to the elderly, although the condition itself is not a crime if not acted upon. Like pedophilia, this sexual deviancy is reviled by society and becomes a serious crime only if acted upon (via inappropriate handling of a elder, elder rape or the consumption or creation of pornography involving older people).
In order for one to qualify as a gerontophile, one must be 16 years or older (or sometimes 18 years or older), be attracted to one who is 53 years or older, and have the age margin between the gerontophile and elder be greater than five years. The attraction to old adults also must be either primary or exclusive.
Similar to pedophilia, there is also no denying a strong link with gerontophilia and other sexual disorders and many gerontophiles have become involved in extreme cases of elderly abuse and murder, with the most vicious even engaging in torture and mind-games, kidnapping, imprisonment, violence and murder. Not all gerontophiles are criminal and/or immoral, however.
