Jayden Knight

Jayden Knight is a UK man convicted of a campaign of domestic violence against his partner after she got an abortion, which supposedly damaged his mental health.

Abuse edit

First incident - December 2019 edit

Shortly after the unidentified woman aborted the child, Knight walked in on her while she was in the bath and spat at her before shouting that he was going to terrorise her. He then gouged her eye with his thumb and told her he was going to kill her, but spared her at the last second before punching a hole in the door.

Second incident - December 2019 edit

In the second incident, Knight spat at the woman and verbally abused her for supposedly cheating on him, calling her a slag. At the end of the argument, he threw a can of lager over her before leaving.

Third incident - 31 December 2019 edit

After seeing that the woman had received texts from a male friend, Knight accused her of cheating on him again and told her it was going to be the worst New Years Eve ever before throwing a drink over her. He then threw her to the floor and forced her to lick the drink up "like a dog".

Fourth incident - January 2020 edit

Knight grabbed the woman and slapped her before pummelling her and verbally abusing her. After the woman recovered, she asked him to leave but he refused.

Fifth incident - 8 January 2020 edit

On 8 January, Knight attacked his partner and pulled her trousers down before shouting at her and punching her to the ground. He then sat on her chest and savagely beat her while continuing to insult her. After this incident, his partner went to the police and Knight was arrested.

Conviction edit

While in custody, Knight claimed that he was ashamed of his actions, and that his mental health was affected by the abortion. He was convicted of five counts of assault and sentenced to 22 months in prison.
