While he was a rather successful medical expert, his acts of unethical testings upon syphilis started to come to light after his death in 2003. == Villainy == *He was infamous for doing unethical human experimentation on Guatemalans. He would inject orphans, prisoners and mental patients with syphilis to see how the disease was transmitted and whether penicillin would serve as a cure, risking the lives of those experimented upon. The experimentation proved to be disastrous, as some people he used as test subjects were infected with syphilis from his experiment. *He also experimented with 600 syphilis-infected African-American men in Tuskegee, Alabama, leaving them untreated in order to further observe the effects of the disease.
