John Joubert is an American serial killer who was convicted of the murder of three young boys, all between the age of 11-13. He is best known as a former Eagle Scout who later turned into a serial killer. At the age of six, Joubert's parents divorced and had to live with his mother, who was an abusive and controlling parent. He was also considered to be an "outcast" as a child, having very little friends in school. In addition to the three murders he was convicted of, he was also known to have stabbed two girls at the age of 13, having sexual stimulation and desires in doing so. However, he was never caught for either attack.

He was eventually sentenced to the death penalty via electric chair. He was executed on July 17, 1996 at the age of 33.
