Jonel Montalez Nuezca (17th October 1974 - 30th November 2021) was a philippine police officer infamously known in his viral video where he killed 2 people who are his neighbors over a land area and noisy dispute.

Jonel Nuezca was born on 17th October 1974 and had one daughter born around 2008.

Sonia Gregorio, 55 years old- a woman who was his neighbor that had a dispute with him over a land area he killed her after replying to his daughter in a mockery way that she doesn't care about Philippine police while chanting it in a Korean pop song called "I Don't Care Eh Eh Eh"
Frank Gregorio, 25 years old - Sonia's son who was with and supporting her argument dispute against Jonel Nuezca for a land area dispute and the noisiness of the noisemaker cannon device named "Boga" they use in their home, then he was killed along with his mother by Jonel Nuezca.
Service Job Suspension edit
In 2010, he was suspended in his job as a police officer for refusing a drug test. 6 years after, he was charged with neglect after refusing to attend a police hearing over a drug case.
2020 Tarlac Shooting edit
The incident started when Nuezca trespassed in the Gregorio household over the use of a noisemaker cannon, or a boga. Nuezca, in civilian clothes, confronted the Gregorios, shouting at them and even swearing at them, despite the presence of other children, including his daughter.
The situation intensified when Nuezca's daughter, Elisha intervened by yelling "No! My father is a policeman!" to the two Gregorios. Once Sonia Gregorio replied back "I don't care, eh eh eh eh eh!" to the tune of 2NE1 song of the same name, Jonel Nuezca then threatened to kill the woman right before shooting her in the head, then he shot Frank twice and Sonia again.
Jonel Nuezca flee the scene after he murdered Sonia and Frank Gregorio then he later come up to Rosales, Pangasinan Police Station on his own to surrender himself.
The Aftermath edit
The incident became Number 1 trending in Social Media just a day after the incident. Celebrities like Catriona Gray, Maine Mendoza and Vice Ganda and ordinary people alike condemned the shooting.[1] The news even reached Philippine Congress, and even President Rodrigo Duterte. A close friend of the President, Bong Go, stated that the incident angered the President. [2] Politicians from both the opposition block and the majority block condemned the shootings.

Nuezca died on 30th November 2021 due to his health complication while being imprisoned.
