Anthony Joseph Maskell (April 13, 1939 - May 7, 2001) is a former Catholic priest who throughout his career was guilty of sexually abusing several female students at Archbishop Keough High School from 1969-1975. Maskell had served the Archdiocese of Baltimore as a counselor from 1965-1994. Maskell had first been guilty of sexually abusing a altar boy, before his sexual assaults on the women at Archbishop Keough High School. One of the well known victims of Maskell's crimes is Jean Hargadon Wehner who Maskell had repeatedly called a "whore" and forced her to swallow his semen in which he claimed she was receiving the holy spirit. Maskell was said to be involved of the murder of Catherine Cesnik in 1969, where Wehner had claimed he had showed her Cesnik's dead body. Maskell had denied these claims until dying from a stroke in 2001.
