Josiah Colt is a capitol rioter infamous for hanging from the balcony of the Senate Chamber. He also supposedly bragged that he was the first to sit in Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's chair.
He has plead guilty to all felony charges for his participation in the insurrection. Court documents also reveal he brought weaponary as a possible attempt to murder others, with those including a pistol, a pocket gun, a stun gun, knives, bullets, bear spray, an expandable baton, and body gear. It is persumed that he was attempting to murder or at least assault Nancy Pelosi, as he posted social media content primarily attacking her, often calling her a “traitor” and a “bitch".
Although Colt expressed remorse for participation, he still defended his claim that he wants Pelosi out of office, and that he "didn't hurt anybody" and did it because he supposedly loves America. He further denied any claim that he's "xenophobic" or "extremist", despite his actions partaking to the riots showing otherwise.

- Although he bragged he sat in Pelosi's chair, in reality, he actually sit in Vice President Mike Pence's chair.
- Colt was an MMA fighter who went by the nickname Peacemaker, which is paradoxical given his participation in a violent rioting attack.
