Julie Schenecker
Julie Schenecker (born Julie Powers on January 13th, 1961) is the villainess who murdered her two children on January 27th, 2011.
Julie met future husband Parker Schenecker, a colonel in the United States Army, sometime in the 1980s in Germany, where Julie worked as a Russian linguist. They later married and had two children, daughter Calyx and son Beau, though there were revelations of psychotic behavior from Julie, as she often abused both children as well as Parker. On January 27th, 2011, Julie drove Beau home from soccer practice, and while doing so, she shot her son twice in the head. The villainess did the same to Calyx after arriving home, using a revolver in both murders. Julie was arrested on that same day, and in her confession, she stated that she killed Calyx (16) and Beau (13) because they "talked back and were mouthy."
During the trial, it was revealed that Julie had originally planned to kill herself after killing her children, and it was on May 15, 2014 that Julie was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to two concurrent life sentences. In a 2018 interview on ABC Action News, Julie claimed that she had only intended to kill herself, and in addition, she stated that she didn't regret killing her children, claiming that she "saved" them. The villainous murderess claimed that Beau was being sexually abused (though she wouldn't reveal who the culprit was) and that Calyx was diagnosed as being bipolar, attempting to state her claims as her motive for the murders. Neither claim was confirmed, and the claims counteracted against her notes at the scene, which showed Julie's true heel persona--as she described her plan to kill Calyx and Beau and referred to her scheme as a "massacre."
