Ka Yang (born in 1981) is a Chinese-American mother from California who had killed her two-month old daughter, Mirabel by putting her in a microwave on March 17, 2011. Yang had stated that this was due to her having an epileptic seizure, however these claims were denied. She was arrested on June 21, 2011 and later charged with first-degree murder and sentenced to 26 years to life in prison on December 18, 2015.
