Kelly Meggs is the leader of the Florida chapter of the Oath Keepers. He along other members of the Oath Keepers raided the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Authorities have revealed that before the riots, Meggs was networking with other far-right extremist groups in order to overturn the 2020 U.S. Election results. It was shown that he particularly had strong connections with the Proud Boys and the Three Percenters.

His wife, Connie Meggs also participated in the storming of the U.S. Capitol. Both were arrested on February 17, 2021. Kelly was eventually found guilty of seditious conspiracy following his participation in the riots. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
