Lynette Fromme

Lynette Fromme (October 22, 1948) or better know as Squeaky is a criminal who was part of the Manson Family and was best known for the attempted assassination of President Gerald Ford and was sentenced to a lifetime in prison.
Early Life edit
Lynette was born in Santa Monica, California October 22, 1948. As a child, she performed for a popular dancing group called the Westchester Lariats, Which started touring in the late 1950s and appeared on The Lawrence Walk Show and the White House.
In 1963, Her family moved to Redondo Beach, Ca and went to Redondo Union High School. After her family movement, she started using drugs and alcohol and was failing class.
Involvement with the Manson Family edit
After she was failing class she was suffering from depression and decided to visit Venice Beach at that time she met Charles Manson who was released from Federal Correctional Institution, Terminal Island. Lynette found Manson's philosophies and attitudes appealing to her. After traveling together the 2 became friends.
After the murder of Sharon Tates and Tate-LaBianca, She and other Manson Family member moved to Sacarmateo, Ca
Assassination Attempted Gerald Ford edit
On the morning of September 5, 1975, She went to Sarcamateo Capitol Park armed with a Colt M1911. 45-caliber semi-automatic. The pistol's magazine with 4 rounded but there was no round in the gun's chamber. When she has the gun pointing at Ford was immediately restrained by Agent Larry Bendorf. And was also comped by Sara Jane Moore
The Aftermath edit
Lynette refused to cooperate with her own defense during her trial and was sentenced with a lifetime of imprisonment for the attempted assassination of President Ford.
In 1979 was a move to another prison in Dublin, Ca for attacking a former cellmate. Later on, she escapes prison to meet Charles Manson and was caught and was placed in the Federal Medical Center in Texas.

- She was featured on the theatrical broadway called "Assassin" and sung along with John Hinckley Jr. singing "Unworthy of your Love"
- She was portrayed by Dakota Fanning in Tarantino's film Once Upon Time in Hollywood.
