Marcelo Fabian Pecollo (died December 6, 2016) was a convicted pedophile and rapist from Argentina.

Pecollo was a music teacher who worked at a preschool in Moron, Argentina, and played the trumpet. He was believed to be an upstanding member of the community until 2006, when the mother of a four-year-old girl accused him of molesting her daughter. After his arrest, six other parents came forward and told police that their children were abused by Pecollo. Two of the seven cases were not brought to trial.

In 2010, Pecollo was convicted of his various crimes and sentenced to thirty years in prison. In 2014 his sentence was inexplicably reduced and he was released after serving just four years. Angered at his release, the parents of his victims sought revenge. On October 30 2016, two years after his release, Pecollo was playing trumpet in the Moron Cathedral Orchestra when the group of angry parents burst in shouting "There is a pedophile and a rapist in the church and he is playing in this orchestra." Pecollo tried to escape but was caught and brutally beaten with his own trumpet.

On being taken to hospital, Pecollo went into a coma and remained unconscious for over a month. He eventually died on December 6, 2016. Nobody was ever arrested for the murder.
