Marisa Rivera is a New Jersey woman who murdered her mother in 2019.
At around 3:30 in the morning of September 6th, 2019, Marisa suddenly stabbed her mother, Denise DeNapoli, to death in their apartment home that they shared. Following the murder, Marisa fled to a Route 73 hotel, where police caught up with Marisa and arrested her. She appeared in court on the following day and faced charges of (among other things) first-degree murder, but did not enter a plea. A motive for the murder hasn't been revealed, though it was uncovered that Marisa was a diagnosed schizophrenic.
