I could not ask for better children.
~ Dr. Marsha Edwards' final social media post before her villainous murder-suicide plot

Dr. Marsha Edwards (March 6th, 1961 - August 21st, 2019) was an Atlanta-based businesswoman who was behind the double murder-suicide of herself and her two adult children.

Marsha Edwards was married to surgeon Christopher Edwards for well over 20 years, though they divorced some time in 2012. The marriage resulted in the births of son Christopher II (June 30th, 1995) and daughter Erin (June 21st, 1999), the latter of the two having worked as an intern for NBC's New York affiliate. Marsha was also the founder of MME Enterprises, a medical supply company based in Atlanta.

During their final weeks, Marsha had been vacationing with Erin and Chris, with photos and posts related to their vacations being shown on social media. On Wednesday, August 21st, Marsha gushed over her son and daughter on her social media, stating via her post that she "couldn't ask for better children." Marsha turned heel hours later by shooting both 24-year-old Chris and 20-year-old Erin to death in their home in Vinings, Georgia. Afterwards, she turned the gun on herself and committed suicide.

All three were found by police later that day. A motive for Martha's villainous actions has yet to be revealed.
