Matthew Beddingfield
Matthew Beddingfield is an American man responsible for nearly killing a 17-year-old customer at Walmart in December 2019 by shooting the victim in the head. He later fled the area after hurting the customer, but eventually turned himself in and was arrested.
He was charged for a first-degree attempted murder charge, but was later freed via bond. Despite this, he was later arrested for a second time for taking part in the 2021 United States Capitol storming, where he jumped a barricade and violently assaulted capitol police officers by hitting them with an American flagpole. Court documents have revealed that he is part of the Stop the Steal movement.
