We went on a tour today of an old castle on the Hudson River. There were 2 girls around your age. I was looking at those girls today thinking of you and getting so excited.
~ Gentile communicating with a thirteen-year-old online.

Michael Gentile, also known as Luv2BNaked, is an American former limo driver from New York who was convicted of attempting to entice a minor for sex following a month-long sting operation by Dateline-NBC personality Chris Hansen. According to police, Gentile was planning what they referred to as "a kiddie-porn manufacturing site".

The sting

The sting began when 64-year-old Gentile contacted a decoy internet account belonging to who he believed was a thirteen-year-old girl. What he didn't realise was that it belonged to a watchdog group called Tetrad-CORE that targets internet predators. At the time, the group was working in conjunction with True Crime Daily host Chris Hansen for his Hansen vs. Predator segment. Gentile sent sexual emails to the decoy and requested that she watch porn videos and do things with a banana. He also sent her pictures of child pornography, requested that she take pictures of her genitals to send to him and left her voicemails referring to her as "my little sex kitten".

After a month of this, Gentile made an excuse to his wife and crossed multiple state lines to meet the decoy in Fairfield, Connecticut. However, on arriving in the sting house he realised that it was the Chris Hansen sting house and tried to leave. He was immediately arrested on leaving the house and taken to the local police station. While waiting for a search warrant to be issued for Gentile's hotel room, the police interviewed him and he claimed he thought she was thirty. This was easily disproved by multiple texts in which the decoy claimed to be thirteen and Gentile's responses. On being asked if he was married, he said yes before infamously commenting "soon-to-be divorced".

On obtaining the warrant, police searched his hotel room and found a camera with which he planned to take naked pictures of the decoy. Twenty-four child pornography images were found on his mobile phone.

In early 2017, Gentile pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree sexual assault, attempted risk of injury to a minor, attempting to entice a minor and possession of child pornography. He was sentenced to ten years in prison, suspended after serving four-and-a-half years and followed by ten years of probation.
