Michael Steven Sandford is a 20-year-old man who attempted to murder Donald Trump at a campaign rally on June 16, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sandford approached Trump as a seemingly innocent rally-goer, when he suddenly grabbed a nearby officer's firearm in a sudden attempt to murder Trump. It has been revealed that Sandford has been scheming for months to kill Trump.

Court documents reveal that Sandford has severe autism, was unemployed and living in his car, and had attempted suicide on multiple occasions. He was also reported to be an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, staying in the United States with an unexpired visa. Sandford additionally mentioned hearing voices in his head motivating him to commit his actions.
