He is believed to have run the Derunta training camp, where he performed unethical experiments on animals such as dogs, earning him the nickname '''Al Qaeda's Mad Scientist''', and was responsible for training [[Richard Reid]] and [[Zacarias Moussaoui]]. He was killed in a drone strike in Pakistan in 2008, alongside five others.
