Mine Ener
Dr. Mine An Ener (July 14, 1965 - August 30, 2003) was a history professor and villainess who murdered her six-month-old daughter in 2003.
Mine Ener was born in the Swedish capital in Stockholm and came to the US with her parents shortly following her birth, earning two master's degrees and a doctorate later in life. She had worked as a history professor at Villanova, and married Ron Donagi, which resulted in the birth of daughter Raya on February 1, 2003.
Raya was born with Down syndrome, and regarding Mine, she developed postpartum syndrome in the months following her daughter's birth. It reached the point where Mine had suicidal thoughts, but claimed that she would never act on them or hurt her baby. However, on August 4, 2003, the evil professor slashed Raya's throat twice just moments after feeding her, committing the murder of her six-month-old inside her bathroom.
Mine was arrested on that same day after confessing to killing her daughter, with the villainess stating that she didn't want Raya to suffer anymore. She was arraigned on August 27 and placed on suicide watch, but just three days later, Mine committed suicide inside her jail cell, doing so by smothering herself with a trash bag.
