==Crime== In September 2018, Ninow, a drug addict, entered an outlet of chain restaurant Dros in Silverton, East Pretoria. According to Ninow, he was feeling unwell and entered what turned out to be the women's toilets in order to take some drugs. After getting high, and still recovering from a drug binge he had been on the previous night, Ninow saw a seven-year-old girl in the toilets and impulsively grabbed her before raping her twice in a cubicle. He then attempted to flush her blood-stained panties down the toilet. The child's mother, the childminder and three waiters, who had noticed she was missing, entered and caught Ninow in the act of assaulting the child. He was arrested and charged with rape, although for the year leading up to the trial the media was forbidden from revealing his name.
