Omar Khan Sharif was a British national and fugitive who was part of a two-man team of suicide bombers that attacked a pub in Tel Aviv, killing three bystanders and injuring 60. In the attack, Sharif's explosive failed to detonate and he fled the scene, sparking a 12-day manhunt by Israeli authorities.

On March 12, 2003, Sharif's body was found floating in the sea, the cause of death was not officially determined but was most likely drowning.
