Orlando Harris (2003 - October 24th, 2022) was the perpetrator of the Central Visual and Performing Arts High School Shooting. He had been struggling with mental health issues. He has been committed to a mental health institution lots of times.

He attempted to buy a AR-15 style rifle from a license dealer. He was denied due to the FBI background check. So he decided to purchase an AR-15 from a private individual. The private sale was not prevented by any law. When Harris' mother saw the rifle she called 9-1-1 for police to remove it. Police did confiscate it. But Harris got his rifle back. The shooting ended when Orlando was killed by the police.

Biography

Orlando Harris was born in 2003. During his lifetime he was a drummer. He loved playing the drumline. He had a few friends in middle school and was very shy and quiet. He has been dealing with suicidal thoughts and has attempted suicide multiple times. According to his teacher he was dealing with bullying.
