'''Orlando Harris''' (2003 - October 24th, 2022) was the perpetrator of the Central Visual and Performing Arts High School Shooting. He had been struggling with mental health issues. He has been committed to a mental health institution lots of times. He attempted to buy a AR-15 style rifle from a license dealer. He was denied due to the FBI background check. So he decided to purchase an AR-15 from a private individual. The private sale was not prevented by any law. When Harris' mother saw the rifle she called 9-1-1 for police to remove it. Police did confiscate it. But Harris got his rifle back.
