== Trivia == * Osama bin Laden and September 11 attacks were responsible for various media being recalled and/or banned. ** The ''Pokémon'' episodes "The Tower of Terror" (due to the title) and "Tentacool and Tentacruel" (due to Tentacruel smashing a skyscraper), though it was included in the Season 2 DVD release while the ban on the ''Pokémon'' episodes were eventually lifted. The episode "A Scare in the Air" was temporarily renamed to "Spirits in the Sky" due to the title too. ** The 29th episode of ''The Amanda Show'' due to the Lucklesses' house being hit by a meteor. ** ''Grand Theft Auto III'' is set in Liberty City, which was inspired by New York City. It was set to be released in 2001, but the release was delayed, and the developers removed destructible planes, the counterpart of the World Trade Center, and changed the color schemes of police outfits and cars. The overall graphic violence was also toned down (although it still is quite violent). ** The 2001 video game: ''Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro'' had cutscenes of a plane exploding as well as a scene during the final showdown with Electro where Spider-Man says the line: ''"Where would you go to be on the top of the world?"'' after finding the former on the Twin Towers. Speaking of the Twin Towers, that’s where the boss fight just so happened to take place on. After the 9/11 terrorist attack, the game would be re-released with said cutscenes being edited out of the game and the Twin Towers would be replaced with one singular tower for the boss fight. ** Many radio stations made a lists of songs with "morally questionable lyrics", with some songs being outright banned. * His full name Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden means "Osama, son of Mohammed, son of Awad, son of Laden". * It was believed that Osama really liked playing video games and watching movies and shows such as Bible Black, Antz, Cars, Chicken Little and Tom & Jerry. It was stated that he had quite a few hobbies while in [[exile]]. * Osama Bin Laden was said to have had an obsession with pop singer Whitney Houston, and allegedly even wanted to kidnap her.<ref>[https://www.reuters.com/article/idUS360594553620120214 Whitney Houston and Osama Bin Laden: The Little-Known Connection], ''Reuters''</ref> * One of his sons, Omar bin Laden denounced his father's activities and accused him of beating him for smiling too widely. * Bin Laden was surprisingly advocated for action against climate change, and criticized the United States for not joining the Kyoto Protocol, even writing a letter regarding this.<ref>[https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-binladen-climatechange/bin-laden-called-for-americans-to-rise-up-over-climate-change-idUSKCN0W35MS Bin Laden called for Americans to rise up over climate change], ''Reuters''</ref>
