They'll get over it.
~ Pamela Dickens' comments regarding how her two children would react to their father's death during her murder-for-hire plot

Pamela Dickens (born March 26, 1956) is a villainess who masterminded the attempted murder of her husband in 2003.

Pamela Dickens was married to Timothy Dickens, and both halves of the couple worked at the Colorado Territorial Corrections Facility. Timothy worked as a prison guard while Pamela was a corrections officer, though during the summer of 2003, Pamela turned heel and engaged in an affair with Rick Hampton, one of the prison's inmates. Her heel persona increased as the illicit relationship progressed, as she began colluding with Hampton to have her husband killed for his insurance money, which would fund their planned roofing business after Hampton's scheduled parole release in two years.

Pamela's bosses not only suspected the affair, but they had also suspected the murder-for-hire plot, leading to Hampton becoming an informant during an investigation towards his lover. In a recorded phone conversation, Hampton stated to Pamela that he wished that the policy was more lucrative, only for the villainess to respond that she managed to quadruple her husband's insurance policy: from $250,000 to a full million. In addition, the evil Pamela also brought up her two children with Timothy, stating that they would "get over" their father's death eventually. Pamela later met with a hitman, who was actually an undercover officer, and arranged the planned murder; with the meeting leading to Pamela's arrest.

In December 2003, Pamela was convicted of attempted first-degree murder and sentenced to 16 years in prison; she served 12 years of the sentence before she was released on July 29, 2015. As for Timothy, he remarried following his first wife's arrest and conviction; however, Timothy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2007 and passed away in 2009. Pamela's case was the subject of "Wrong Side of the Law," an episode of Oxygen's Murder for Hire, which aired on November 9, 2019.
