The Cult Mixes Christianity With Communist and Socialism Ideology. The cult was disbanded following the mass suicide at Jonestown on November 18^th, 1978. Jonestown resulted in the largest single loss of American civilian life in a deliberate act until September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
