'''Peter Manfredonia''' is a former student of the University of Connecticut who is a murderer of two people in May 2020. He has been suspected of successfully killing two people and kidnapping a third person. Law officials had been on a six-day manhunt trying to track him down from Connecticut to Maryland.

Manfredonia was responsible for the death of 63-year-old Theodore DeMers, who was killed via stabbing and sharp force, and 23-year-old Nicolas Eisele, a high school classmate who was shot in the head by Manfredonia. A motive for the murders has not been established. In addition, he had also attempted to murder 80-year-old Navy veteran John Franco, who attempted to intervene Manfredonia when he was on a rampage killing DeMers, though Franco despite heavy injuries survived.

Manfredonia was revealed to be a former engineering student at UConn who primarily focused on engineering business and management. His ex-girlfriend revealed that Manfredonia is likely mentally unstable after his breakup with her. His ex-girlfriend further revealed she was abused, stalked and hacked by her during the relationship, which she ended the relationship after finding out he hacked her social media accounts in April. She also stated that Manfredonia had an obsession with weapons, particularly with samurai swords.

He is currently incarcerated and held on $12 million bond.
