Biography edit

Rebecca and her mother, Kimberly Venose-Olenchock, lived in a homeless camp in Bristol Township, Pennsylvania, though she had longed for a better life not only for herself, but her mother as well. While working as a waitress, Rebecca saved her tips to buy a car and was planning on buying an apartment, though her money was being spent by her mother, according to Rebecca.

Rebecca killed her mother on October 17, 2010; beating her with a baseball bath before dousing Kimberly with kerosene and setting her on fire on her bed. Kimberly escaped the house, but the burns caused her to develop heart failure and pass on, after which Rebecca escaped.

Rebecca was found two days later and arrested, after which she confessed to killing her mother, claiming that Kimberly spent the money she was saving on a new apartment. In addition, Rebecca claimed that Kimberly threatened to send a motorcycle gang to kill her if she ever left the camp.

On October 12, 2011, Olenchock was found guilty but was deemed mentally ill, and she was sentenced to life without parole.
