}}'''Richard Huckle''' (May 14, 1986 - October 13, 2019) is a former teacher, photographer and convicted sex offender. He was arrested by the UK National Crime Agency after an Australian police report and found guilty of 71 counts of aggravated sexual assault against children while living in Malaysia . 

What also became a parent during the trial was the extent to which Huckle went to find victims, including taking the children on day trips from orphanages and escorting the children to the home after their own birthday party. Huckle even went so far as to create a log of his abuse and give himself what he called "Paedo points" based on the extent of abuse suffered by each victim.

During the years of 2011 and 2012, Huckle did part time photography for Nike Football Club Malaysia. There were no reports of abuse in the club. However, his behaviour did raise concern among the players in the club as Huckle had an eccentric and quiet character. In addition to Malaysia, where all of the crimes he was convicted of occurred, and Cambodia, which was also mentioned in the trial, where it is known that he kidnaped two sisters of 4 and 6 years in 2006.

Sentencing Sentencing began at The Old Bailey on June 1, 2016 and is expected to last until June 3, 2016. Case judge Peter Rook QC said Huckle should expect to go to jail for a very long time. a long time because he envisions several lives. convictions because of the gravity of what was committed.

While the British media broadly supported Huckle's conviction, the Malaysian press said the punishment was not severe enough, with statements such as "a thousand years is not enough", "We are horrified that the sex demon [Huckle] will be able to appear before a parole board after twenty-three years, ”and“ this monster could come out in twenty-four years ”.
